New Year's 2010

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

My parents have always made December 31st a celebration. This year we were in UT
and got to ring in the new year with lots of cousins. We messed up Candace
and Michael's house with confetti, noisemakers and streamers.
Carolyn and Eric brought SPARKLERS and those were my favorite part...
...a new addition to our tradition.

Emily and Uncle Rich

Here is Ben experimenting with sparklers in the snow. It's hard to
tell with the camera flash, but it really did make the snow glow.

Here is our favorite Grandma party game...The Candy Bar/Dice Game!

That looks like such a blast! Now tell me do the kids really stay up until midnight or how does it work? We need to do something fun like this!

So great to see so many posts! Your sweet family is adorable and I just loved the table settings for Christmas dinner. I can't believe all that snow in Utah...it makes me shiver just thinking about it.

I need to know about the candybar/dice game! Will you email me the info? It sounds and looks fun! It was fun to pictures of your mom and dad's house and yard. It's been so long since I've been there. I'll bet having your parents home and celebrating NYE with them was wonderful - I love traditions!
