Don't ask me why have we lived here for over nine years and waited until the day after Thanksgiving to do this hike. For our family...with a 4th grader to an 18 month old...it was perfect. Besides being gorgeous and including views of my perfect Golden Gate, it met the other criteria I like to use when choosing a family adventure. We didn't have to get up early and we didn't have to pack a lunch. What more could we want!
The kids climbed through the ruins at the Sutro Baths and Emily was the most daring of all; exploring the cave, balancing the side of a pool of mucky water and short-cutting through rock crevices on the beach. I can't wait to go again!
p.s. walking sticks are optional :-)
