Happy Anniversary - Mom and Dad!
One of my favorite family traditions...which my mom and dad started when I was in high school...is celebrating my parent's wedding anniversary by going out to eat with all my brothers and sisters and now our spouses and my mom and dad. It is one of the few times during the year when we get together without all the kids in the family (20 cousins) and we have good food and great conversation without anyone having to do dishes or clean up a mess.
My dad likes to say that his wife and kids give him the most reason to celebrate, so we should all be together on their anniversary anyway.
April 30th makes it 44 years...CONGRATULATIONS!
This year while my siblings and in-laws were eating at Brick Oven in Provo, and my parents were eating out in Helsinki, we took the kids and tried out an oven fired pizza place called Oregano's. It was a great night and the boys were in heaven because for them...Food and Fire = Perfect Combination!

That is so cute! What a great idea for Anniversary traditions. I think it is so great that you took the kids and celebrated for your mom and dad!! Hey maybe next year you will be able to go with your mom and dad :-)
Nate and Ben and Emily,
I love you and I wish I could play with you soon! But I know you are far away! I miss you!
