We hugged Ben goodbye and ran across the playground to 2nd Grade
Second Grade - Miss NitaI had dreams of recreating our "last day of summer celebration" from 2008,
but the day before school started was full of tantrums and tension.
We actually ate cold Costco pizza for dinner...how sad is that?
To try to make up for it, we celebrated with a
"first day of school cake" that Ben and Emily decorated...
they wanted to have a sprinkle party on the cake.
They succeeded.

There's those cute 'first day of school' pics we've been anxiously waiting for! What handsome guys you are! Nate, where's that big smile? I wanted to see your missing tooth!!
