Christmas 2009

Here are a few of our Christmas memories...

The nativity my parents sent us from Finland was in the
Christmas Creche Exhibit this year. Even my mom
and sister and niece came to CA and got to see it on display.

Stringing popcorn and cranberries.

All dressed up for a Nativity Pageant. (Nate told me he is getting
too big for this kind of stuff and it would have to be his last year.
)

The San Francisco Nutcracker Ballet with our sweet friend JoAnn

After the ballet, we went to the Fish Market for Nate's Birthday Dinner.
I've never seen him more surprised or happy as when the server came
around the corner with this gorgeous chocolate mousse cake
and eight burning candles....all part of JoAnn's secret plan.

All set for Christmas Eve Dinner

Christmas Eve Nativity with the Taylors and the Steigers

CHRISTMAS MORNING!
(Jason hung the sheet to keep the kids from seeing any surprises.)

Emily asked Santa for a doll house.

The boys asked Santa for a Wii.

And finally, here's Ben helping clean up our big mess.

UNTIL NEXT YEAR!

I can't believe how grown up Emily is...it seems like we were just at her baby blessing a few months ago!

Looks like you all had a great Christmas! Happy New Year!

What a great post! I love all your pictures. That doll house was incredible. I love all your nativities. What is the one by your TV that is really neat too. Your table looked amazing. I need some tips on those flower arrangements you are so good. Nate's face is so fun when he was surprised. That was so nice of your friend. Cute pics love them all! Miss you guys.
