"Special Me"

A couple weeks ago Ben was the "Special Me" in his class. He made a poster
of his favorite place (Disneyland), filled the estimation jar (572 foam shapes),
decorated the counter-top (flameless candles) and introduced his special guest (Adam).

Adam sat like a prince in the center of a circle of first graders.
He watched all the kids and took his "special guest" job pretty seriously. Ben said,
"This is my little brother Adam. He is 9 months old and weighs 22 lbs.
He likes his toy giraffe and can give me "high five." Are there any questions?"

One kid raised his hand and asked..."Is that a boy or a girl?"

After Adam's introduction, the teacher invited Emily to come to the
circle and meet the class. At least no one asked if this princess was a boy.
