Half Moon Bay

After school on Friday we all went to the beach for some sun, sand and kite-flying.
There was lots of sand, not much sun, but plenty of wind to keep the kite up.
The sky was a gorgeous pink and you can see from the bottom of J's pants that he back right into the waves while flying our favorite dragon kite. We dug out a big sand castle/play pen complete with a moat and tunnel. A great way to spend the afternoon!

LOOK at that big girl!! We love HMB in the winter... it looks like so much fun! It makes it worth the tons of sand you end up dumping out of the shoes, the hair, the car, etc, etc...

What a great time! You have the beach all to yourself. That is awesome. Emily is getting so big. What a great place to fly a kite too!

wow! cool Kite! We can hardly wait till it is warm enough to go and fly ours. Last year we lost the shark one to a tree, so we just picked a new one up that looks like a jet. Great pictures!
