What a wonderful day! The pictures are beautiful and I'm just a bit jealous. We walked around Helsinki in -2 degrees for MLK Day, in several layers of warm clothes (no sun in the sky). But celebrate we must! Mom in Finland

You guys seriously take advantage of the fun things by where you live. I still wish I had done more stuff when I lived there. Its like out of a movie when I tune into your blog.
You lucky ducks! I love going to the beach in CA when we're visiting my in-laws in the winter. It's cold here, but we played yesterday, too--we went sledding!
So much fun. Maybe some day we'll make it down to visit you.
Oh wow - I'm jealous. Shorts and t-shirts in January? The beach? In January? Remind me again why we haven't come to visit after six years in Palo Alto? Oh yeah - because we keep spending our money on dumb things like a new furnace, car repairs...
