The thing about two-year-old art projects is that they always start out like this...
...where I'm happily feeling like an interactive, creative, hand's on, memory-making mom...
and then they end up like this...
(if I had taken a picture of myself it would have looked exactly the same.) Now that her work is proudly displayed next to her brothers' beside the dining room table, it was all worth it.
Janet - She's adorable!!!!! Sometimes it doesn't matter what they do, they are just too cute! At least that is what Dave says whenever our girls cry, make a mess, or do anything they shouldn't!
what a contrast from the beginning to the end, doesn't it always seem to end like this? But, then as you say - it turns out to be a "good" memory in the long-run. Love it! Mom

Logan just saw Emily and asked "Mom why is she sad?" Those pics are adorable. And yes what a good mom you are!
So true! Amazing how the happiest of moments can quickly turn into a tantrum! She is a doll - even when she is crying!
Priceless. You are a good mom, in fact, I think you're amazing! You were smart to take pictures even if you both ended up with sad faces.
