Update - July

Besides a picnic breakfast and a pickup game of baseball, we walked to Stanford to watch a professional soccer game on the 4th of July. It was the San Jose Earthquakes vs. ? and to be honest, I was only there for the fireworks. but it was so fun to be all together (we do a lot of divide and conquer with the kids) and we really loved watching the game.

Jason's work had a family fun day in July so we went to the Sunnyvale Campus and enjoyed a pirate party. The best part for me was unlimited cotton candy, but Emily liked the face painting the best and the boys did some rock climbing and a bungee/trampoline jumping thing. When I look at the pictures and think back to this day, I can't help but feel like we have the best, cutest kids in the world. It is such a good memory.

At the end of July, Holly used her season pass and took us to the Academy of Science Museum in San Francisco. Our kids are best friends and besides a big "policeman with a gun chasing a bad guy" scare in the McDonald's parking lot on the way home (thanks to her iPhone the boys didn't even see it happen), it was a perfect day.

(Emily and Jordan are trying to hold so still hoping for a butterfly to land on them.)

I don't give in to messes very often, since they seem to happen so naturally on their own. But this hot July day, Adam loved making a mess with his pasta dinner.

And here's one last picture from July; Soccer camp for Nate and Ben
