Adam is 20 months old. And besides looking so much like Nate, these brothers have something else in common. I only changed a few stinky diapers last week because just like Nate at this age, Adam has decided he likes to poop in the toilet. It doesn't happen all the time and I'm not stocking up on "Buzz Lightyear" underwear anytime soon, but seeing his brain and his bottom working together seems pretty cool to me.
Adam tolerates going to nursery at church, but he LOVES singing "The wise man built his house upon the rock." It's a funny thing coming from a boy who doesn't talk much, but can't resist a good action song. If I start singing anything else, in the car, the bathroom or just before bed he shakes his head and claps his fists together to remind me that there is only one right song for him...."and the rains came tumbling down."

I hope to get down on the floor and play with Adam more this year instead of getting him settled and then trying to sneak away. He knows how happy we are to have him as the baby in our family, but I hope to walk away from the computer or the kitchen sink and choose him first...not fourth.
