When Jason told the kids he was going to San Diego for a few days of training, the boys immediately asked if he would bring them back a treat. Emily was quickly on board with that idea and now everytime her dad calls all she can talk about are M&M's.
He left the boys in charge so I woke up this morning to hear Nate say, "Who wants breakfast?" He took care of all the cold cerealing before school and is such a good helper.
Ben was excited because an empty half of a king-sized bed means he gets to sleep in my room for once.
And Emmy...besides crying, "I go daddy," all the way to the airport...she's just thinking about the M&M's.

Dear Janet, I love your posts. Your writing is thoughtful, simple and creative. Your pictures are always delightful. Enjoy those M&Ms!
That is so cute. First off I love that picture of Jason he looks handsome. Sorry you are alone for a couple days. That is cute about the kids and all the different ways of handling the situation. What a great family. We miss ya!
This totally reminds me of when I was little. When my dad went on business trips he would always bring us home those gold coin things with chocolate in them.
M&M's, shoppings worst nightmare! But Jordyn is getting old enough she know's she has a better chance of getting some if she doesn't cry. And your family is as cute as can be.
So good to hear from you! Looks like all is well in Cali...can I just say that Emily has grown leaps and bounds! Holy cow! Your kids are darling. Sorry Jason was gone...I know the feeling. It is a good think he doesn't travel often or he would be bringing home a lot of M&M's!
