Christmas Creche Exhibit
What has become a Christmas Tradition for our family, was even more fun tonight than it has been the last five years. It might have been because after Jason and the kids and I walked around our church building filled with nativity sets, I volunteered as a hostess and got to stand in the back of the chapel smiling, directing guests, and listening to the high school choir sing. It might have been because the boys are getting bigger and I didn't have to remind them every two minutes, "not to touch." I'm almost positive it was because Emily was so excited to see babies everywhere...even babies made of stone, marble, wood or cloth. And everytime she would point and shout, "baby!" it was like she was seeing baby Jesus for the very first time.

Just to explain, each year our ward/stake creates a beautiful display of over 500 nativity sets from all over the world. They are majestic and simple and glorious and inspiring. The church building is literally transformed with trees and lights and fabric...it is breathtaking. Last year over 11,000 people from the community toured the Creche. It's a perfect way to celebrate the Christmas Season.

Cute family! What a great tradition.
What a precious baby! And I don't mean the one wrapped in blue! I love these blogs, but, oh how lonesome they make me! I can't believe how fast our time went--it just doesn't ever seem like we get in enough lovin'! Please give our precious Emmy a big squeeze from gwamma and gwampa. Wish we could have seen the creche exhibit--I really think I might try to start that up here. I think its such a great idea! Love you all.
Emily looks so darling it that picture I love it!
